A Pinhole Diary of Eating Out

A long-term project by photographer Nancy Breslin

I have been photographing meals out since 2003, and each day during 2012 posted one from that date in a prior year. Now in 2013 I will leave occasional thoughts about pinhole photography.

I’ve had a wonderful opportunity for the past few months, as I was selected as an artist-in-residence at Winterthur Museum, Gardens and Library.  Their collection is one of the best of decorative American arts in the world.  I am working on several projects inspired by the museum, and one involves taking pinhole photographs of particular items in the collection.  I think the objects of silver, ceramic or glass look lovely through the soft aperture of my camera.
